Denim And Lace

These clogs have come a long way. I've had them since last year and somehow have managed to keep them in tact. The wood makes them casual enough for day, and the heel dresses them up for night. I felt like mix matching, sometimes it just works. The denim shirt is usually a thoughtless decision since it seems to work with everything. 

TGIF. This has been a longer week than usual. I plan on spending the weekend posting some new products on Rack and Sack so look out for them!

Beneficial Lip Affairs

Gingersnap, Bare Minerals (left). I like that it's almost nude with just a touch of color which is great for everyday wear.

Vanessa, Bare Esenctuals (middle). Here's my attempt at being a lip model. This is a fun gloss for outings, it's a sultry red that works for almost everyone.

Dolly, Bare Escentuals (right). Apparently this is one of their best sellers and probably my personal favorite. I don't wear gloss or lipstick very often but when I do, it's usually a peachy/pink color like this one.

I got two new glosses and one lipstick from Bare Esenctuals I'll be posting shortly. This photo is now my inspiration to get "dolled up" and photograph the different shades.

I just picked this up at Nordstrom's private sale. Love that it can double as a clutch.

Friday morning inspiration - I think it's the red lipstick, aviators, and color blocking that got me. I think I'd like the pants more minus the bedazzle detail, but I really like this look overall.

Off And Away To Catalina

Yesterday morning I woke up and decided to celebrate having the day off, and my independence of course. What better way to do that than a much needed trip to Catalina. After living in LA for over 3 years, it was my first time. So I quickly threw on some essentials (raybans, sunblock, bikini, tank-dress) and was on my way. Tanning, eating, boating, and golf cart riding is how I spent the rest of my day when I arrived. I will definitely be visiting again!

Thinking Of Pink

I was out shopping at the 3rd street promenade in Santa Monica, when I came across these. I kind of really, really like them but on the other hand feel like I would never really wear them. Strange because the feedback I got from posting these on twitter was my thoughts exactly. Would you buy these? I do already have a cute pair of pink high-waisted shorts I had picked up from American Apparel a while back - shots below. I think they'll do. I tossed in "9 Lives" for added decor.
