Bohemian Lookbook

For the boho obsessed, we put together a few of our favorite looks for weekend outfit inspiration. Layer jewelry, add fringe and feathers to just about anything, and break out those rugged boots you have sitting in the back of your closet.

If you're going for a more glamorous version of bohemian chic, switch out the boots for a pair of cool wedges. Add some attitude, and you'll be the coolest girl at your local bar.

Muse Monday

We came across these stunning photos and just had to share them with you! The combination of effortless beauty combined with simplistic styling and hints of bold jewelry make the shots perfection. Bold jewelry can be a powerful statement, it's usually best to keep your look simple when wearing a statement piece. Mix up chunky necklaces in your jewelry box with a basic button down for a casual-chic look like this one.

Happy Monday!

Office To Pool Essentials

Summer has arrived early in LA and we aren’t complaining! 80-degree weather can only mean one thing… sun bathing days are fast approaching. To help you prepare for a work and play outfit combo, we put together a style board of some of our favorite “go-to” style pieces. Ripped denim and a comfy tee is an easy and stylish option to throw on over your bikini. In this kind of heat it helps to be prepared for all occasions! Toss on a statement necklace to polish your boho-chic look.

Gaga for Pink Lipstick

There's something about a bold lip that just instantly elevates your look. Lately we've been crazy over bold shades of pink. From matte to glossy, we love them all. The best part about going pink is that it's such a versatile color it's easy to transform the look from day to night when you're on the go. We suggest to keep your eye make-up minimal when going with a bold lip and let the lips do all the talking. Happy weekend!

One of our favorite pink colors is this gorgeously bright shade, Behave Yourself. While we don't advise you to behave this weekend, if you need a new shade stop into MAC and pick this one up.

Santa Barbara Daycay

As summer approaches, my weekend routine of taking road trips to see different parts of California commences. This past Sunday I ventured out to do a little sight seeing, and wine tasting. It was literally perfect weather and such beautiful scenery to shoot. Can't wait for the next trip!

How To Wear A Beaded Necklace

1. Layer them for a bold statement.

 2. Pair a multi-colored beaded necklace with complimentary colors that make the necklace pop. If you wear a chunky, bold necklace, keep ears minimal or bare.

3. For necklaces that have two neutral tones, like black and white, go for a monochromatic look by pairing it with like colors.

New Jewels Make Us Happy

Rich jewel tones are all the rage lately, and who could blame a girl for getting weak at the knees for a pretty emerald green? Oh the different ways you could wear a jewelled necklace. We like to pair them with neutrals or complementary colors. At our look book shoot, we paired this gorgeous necklace with army green (sort of a neutral) and solid black. So.. what do you think the best way to get jewelled out is?

Accessory Report: CHOKER CRAZE

(Photo: whowhatwear.com)

We can't say that the 90's was our favorite decade for style but, one good thing did come from it... CHOKERS! The trendy piece has been taking over our accessory closet for years and it has recently found its way into the closet of celebrity trend setters such as Kim Kardashian, Nicole Richie, Rihanna, and Rosie Huntington Whiteley.

Little Black Bag

From the little black dress to the little black bag. Packing for the holidays got us thinking about essentials. The little black bag is key - it's chic, compact, and pairs well with just about everything. Our most beloved black bag of choice is one with a black and gold color combo or textured leather. Check out some of our favorite little black bags from designer digs like the Alexander Wang bag to steals that achieve the same glam look for less (#2 RS).

Leather Crush

One of our "go to's" this fall has been leather, well, just about anything. It's easy to mix and match and adds chic-funk to your look. We're crushing on this leather crop top, styled here with our vintage beauties: Clyde necklace, Khaleesa bracelet, Night Diva bag. Layer gold on leather and you've got a master combo! The perfect weekend look.

Plaid Obsessed

Oh plaid. My latest obsession, this plaid Burberry jacket needs to somehow find its way into my closet STAT. Grey is by far one of my favorite colors this season, and the red, well, that goes perfectly with my tan skin tone! We styled the must have piece with our Bar Fan necklace and Grey Slate vintage bag.

November Heat

LA weather has been all over the place lately. It is November right? 80 degree days say different. By day it's Summer, and by night, it's starting to finally feel a little more like fall. I've been really into mixing skirts with sweaters, pants with crop tops, pretty much anything that blends the two seasons. With the temperatures dropping at night I'm being forced to accept that short weather will soon be bye bye. So here's my attempt to get fall inspired. While I'm hesitant to switch, this girl has a soft spot for furs, making it a little easier to welcome sweater weather.
